About Rachel

Rachel Hargrove is the older of two twins born on June 26, 1978 to Mary Louise Hargrove-Hawthorne and Barry Hargrove (deceased). Rachel lost her father on November 15, 1978, although she was too young to have any recollection of her father. She was adopted by her mother's new husband, Mark Hawthorne. Rachel began to write poetry at the age of 9. Her gift was encouraged by her stepfather. He helped her to enter poetry contests. She has won a number of poetry contests. Rachel hopes to someday publish her poetry.
